The book contains 103 recipes, and each recipe is accompanied by a superb photograph, a short text, for example a short story, anecdote, a poem or a message that brings us closer to the time or place of the author's preparation of that dish.
The author of this book has written three cookbooks so far. He has represented the Croatian cultural and gastronomic heritage at the most famous events around the world. The book is divided into five chapters: cold and hot delicacies, soups, from the depths of the sea, from the pastures and desserts. The book contains recipes from around the world as well as from the author's Istrian homeland. Each dish is accompanied by a brief description of the herbs or spices used in the preparation of the dish, useful tips for making the dish, the time required for preparation and the calorie value (in kJ), which can be useful for the reader when choosing a recipe.
