The forty most meritorious Croatian scientists from the late Middle Ages to the most recent times were presented to the wider Croatian public, i.e. from Benedikt Kotruljević to Ivan Supek. Emphasizing the claim that ultimately every choice is subjective, we want readers to recognize the value of this book and find a lot of interesting information within its covers that will either provide them with new knowledge or expand their previous knowledge about people who changed Croatian and world science.
