Daj mi svoje brige
One of the most popular Polish Catholic writers wrote this biography of Jesus, titled "Letters of Nicodemus," in which he beautifully chronicled the life of Jesus and his encounter with Nicodemus.
In Poland, it had a huge circulation, and was translated into major world languages. It was translated into Croatian in 1961 and printed on a cyclo-machine. The translator used a German translation that was not entitled “Gib mir deiner Sorgen” and used the title “Give me your worries” in the Croatian translation. Namely, in the 20th letter, Nicodemus asks: “What else could I do for you, Master?” To this Jesus replies: “Give me, Nicodemus, your worries! I need them, I am waiting for them, I still lack them.” And further: “Take up my cross and give me yours!” Reading the book, we will follow Nicodemus’ search, thinking and feeling. With him, we will encounter Jesus full of goodness and love. In Him, His Gospel, we will find great understanding for our current worries that oppress and frighten us. Like Nicodemus, we will feel Jesus' friendly gaze upon us and hear his saving words: "Give me your worries!" Nothing is more desirable for today's man!
