Branko Ćopić

“The Mallow-Colored Garden” is a symbolic post-war work by writer Branko Ćopić. It is divided into two parts: “Mornings of Blue Mallow” and “Days of Red Mallow”, the colors of which blue and red represent the mood of those periods of life.

"The Mallow Garden" (1980) by Branko Ćopić is a collection of autobiographical and essayistic stories in which the author returns to his memories, childhood and hometown, but also reflects on the times in which he lives. "The Mallow Garden" is considered one of Ćopić's most beautiful late works. It is written simply, but with deep emotional power, so it is loved by both young and adult readers. It is a book about childhood, nostalgia and the beauty of small things that remain in the memory for a lifetime.
