Život svete Male Terezije
A short biography of St. Teresa of Avila, enriched by her prayers and devotions in her honor, among which the novena "24 Glory to the Father" stands out.
Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face lived in this world for only 24 years, at the end of the 19th century. Although this Discalced Carmelite from Lisieux lived a very simple and secluded life, after her death and the publication of her writings she became one of the most famous and beloved saints. Even before Saint Pope John Paul II proclaimed her a Doctor of the Church in 1997, her veneration among the Croatian faithful was great. Blessed Alojzije Stepinac was particularly deserving of this. “Little Therese never ceased to help the simplest souls, the little, the poor and the suffering who prayed to her, but she also enlightened the entire Church with her profound spiritual teaching,” are the words with which Pope Benedict XVI described her. This short biography of her, enriched by her prayers and devotions, in a concise way rediscovers the great treasure of the Catholic faith of this “little flower of Jesus.”
