Discussions on semantics in the category of number.

The problematization of the semantic and partly morphological aspects of the grammatical category of number in selected parts of the syntactic structures of the Croatian language was carried out in this scientific study by describing the relationship between mathematical and grammatical number, then by describing the grammatical category of number in collective nouns and the so-called Pluralia tantum, by describing the number of verbs in impersonal sentences with a subject and proverbs, and by describing the grammatical category of number in onomastics. It is important to emphasize the author's intention to present these descriptions using a new conceptual apparatus.
