Cesta do sna

Cesta do sna

Mia Dimšić

"The Road to Dream" is the story of a completely (un)ordinary girl from Osijek, about how she became one of the biggest Croatian music sensations of the new generation.

In her debut, pop-country star Mia Dimšić recalls her happy childhood in Osijek's Retfala, her childhood obsession with Vesna Pisarović, her sporting failures, her travels with a folklore ensemble and the famous tamburijadas in her family home, and in a simple yet remarkably insightful way she talks about the challenges of growing up, her musical beginnings, her inspiration and composition, the effort it takes to succeed on the music scene... It's a story about important life lessons and the people who have marked her life - from her parents, her first love, her friend and manager Damir Bačić to the people she appreciates on the Croatian stage. One of them is rock veteran Jurica Pađen, the man who introduced her to synchronicities, seemingly incredible happy coincidences that show her and prove that she is on the right path, and Mia has noticed them since she was a child. While Jurica Pađen says synchronicity, Mia says Mr. Life, a tall gentleman with a top hat, who at one point bowed to her and said: "You imagine, I fulfill."
