Jasmina Ujhazi was born in Osijek on August 26, 1971, the second of two children of Vlatko and Lilija Senzel. She graduated from the High School of Economics in Osijek, where she lives and works. She writes short stories, poems for children and adults. She is the author of the lyrics for the children's poem "Semafor", which was set to music and for which a video was shot and released in 2021. "U carstvu šarenih balona" is her first independent collection of poems.
