The novel "Onduo, my black boy" (1975) by Anton Ingolič tells a story about friendship, understanding and the meeting of different cultures.

The main character is a boy who meets Ondu, a boy from Africa. Their acquaintance develops into a strong friendship, despite differences in origin, lifestyle and experiences. Through his relationship with Ondu, the narrator gets to know a different world, customs and values, but also questions his own attitudes.
