The modern fantasy story about the little girl Alice, first published in 1865 in London, continues to be published and is one of the most widely read and beloved children's stories.
The book follows the adventure of two children who find themselves in a shipwreck. Their struggle for survival, mutual support and coping in an unfamiliar environment form the core of this story.
The story was published by Mijat Stojanović in his book Folk Tales and Poems, published in 1867. Along with it, Stojanović noted: "In Samac from the merchant Marko from Kobaš, grad. krajina year 1835."
