Tales and Stories (1875) is a collection of prose texts by Stjepan Mitrov Ljubiša, one of the most important 19th-century Serbian writers from the Bay of Kotor. The book contains Tales by Vuk Dojčević and Tales from Montenegro and the Coast.
In the story "Love in a Town" (1926), Andrić weaves a story about two young people whose love was like a river flowing under the ice – strong, but trapped, in a town where dreams break against the stone of tradition.
