In Vienna's New Town (1921) is a one-act play – an epilogue to the Zrinski-Frankopan Tragedy. It commemorates the 250th anniversary of the execution of Zrinski and Frankopan in Vienna's New Town in 1671.
The book provides a thorough chronicle and analysis of centuries-old theatrical contacts between two cities – Osijek and Pécs – which historically shared the cultural space of the Pannonian Plain, especially during the period of the Habsburg Monarchy.
Each text in this book is a rounded whole and was created for some reason, but they all overlap and break exclusively theatrical frameworks, speaking comparatively and interdisciplinary.
