Istorija srpske filozofije
This book, with its discoveries, marks a turning point in the way of viewing and evaluating the entire heritage of Serbian philosophy.
This is the best and most complete history of Serbian philosophy so far. It covers the period from the literacy of the Serbs in the Middle Ages to the end of the 20th century. Compared to the previous syntheses by Dragan Jeremic (1967/68) and Andrija Stojković (1970/1972), this book brings many novelties. The author, based on decades of studying Serbian philosophy, has made advances in the knowledge of many previously unknown or little-known segments of the history of our thought. This especially applies to the period of the Middle Ages, then to the dark period of slavery under the Turks until the middle of the 19th century. He also dared that, despite the lack of time distance, it offers an account of philosophical movements in our country during the last decades of the 20th century, which has already caused polemical writings in the press. This book provides a reliable overview of our philosophy and will be an indispensable starting point for all its future observations.
