Lakićević analyzes the moment in which we live, using assumptions from the past and the literature he carefully studied. His essays are written in clear and understandable language, and are dedicated to the victims of the war in these areas. The book reminds us that the stereotypical understanding of history and events in which we live is not only false, but also endlessly pathetic and boring. Lakićević also analyzes patriarchal consciousness and the political geometry of nationalism, unraveling the political mechanism and showing that every ruler, no matter how powerful, is ultimately dead and that the imposed blindness is not infinite.
