Umjetnost sretnog življenja

If you want to know the true Being, you need to understand that it is not your mind or your personality. Personality is outside of your Being. The word personality comes from the Greek word persona, which refers to a mask or covering. If you remove all the shrouds and veils of your own personality, one by one, you will discover the real light within, you will find the real Being. In meditation you are not removing an aspect of yourself or ego, but learning to enter into that source or light. Don't look outside of yourself for something that is hard to find. You are looking for someone who is already inside you. That's why it's easier to find. Unfortunately, we do not have exercises that would achieve this. From childhood you are not trained to see things with an inner light. Nobody taught you how to look inside, to discover something inside, to go to the inner source. Subtle learning is absent in your home life.
