In the small and isolated environment of the Falkland Islands, the disappearance of a child is a real rarity, and due to the harsh landscape, it can only mean a terrible tragedy.
But after several boys disappear in a short period of time - first from a family of tourists and then from the local community, the locals face the terrifying possibility that their disappearances are not accidental and that a killer is hiding among them. Catrin Quinn, a whale expert who lives a solitary life after the death of her two sons, joins the search for the missing boys.
