Ferdo Ž. Miler, profesor i književnik. Rodio se 18. IX. 1853. u Urfahru u Gornjoj Austriji. Pučku školu i gimnaziju svršio u Osijeku, filozofiju u Beču (klasične nauke i slavistiku). Učiteljevao u Osijeku i Zagrebu, gde je umro 30. X. 1917.
