Kur'an s prevodom
The Qur'an is the holy book of Islam, which is considered a message from Allah through the prophet Muhammad. It is the basic source of religious, moral and legal authority for Muslims. It consists of 114 surahs, which are divided into verses.
According to Muslim belief, 610-632. Muhammad, God's Messenger, conveyed God's message, and Muhammad says that God's words were conveyed to him by the angel (Jewish: malach) Jibril (Gabriel, whom Christians consider an archangel, Sraosh for Mazdaists). Muhammad encouraged the writing of the Qur'an, which is divided into 114 suras (chapters). The Arabic in which the Qur'an was written became the standard, so in this respect the Arabic language does not change from st. VII.
Considering classical Arabic as the language of God, Muslims believe that the Qur'an is untranslatable, but it is possible to translate its meaning. Such a translation by Džemaluddin Čaušević from 1937 was published in Croatia as early as 1969. Now the translation by Besim Korkut from 1976 is mainly used.
This is a reprint of that translation. Until the new, critical edition, it seems most suitable for the daily use of students in madrasahs, students of the Islamic Theological Faculty, imams, and all those interested in such a work, as recommended by the Elders of IZ.
