Elementarna teorija brojeva

Elementarna teorija brojeva

Boris Pavković, Branimir Dakić, Pjer Mladinić

This booklet should not be understood as a serious introduction to number theory, but rather as a reading intended for students in upper elementary school and lower secondary school, i.e., ages 13 to 17.

Therefore, it includes only those parts of number theory whose understanding does not require major mathematical prior knowledge. The formulations of the problems dealt with in this book are so simple that they can be understood even by those who "have no idea" about mathematics, so it is a suitable material to interest even the youngest in this branch of mathematics. The material is classified by topic. After the theoretical contents of the topic, a large number of examples illustrating the application of these contents are completely solved. Exercise tasks are listed at the end of each topic. As a rule, the results are listed for numerical tasks, and for more complex, theoretical tasks, instructions are also given. At the end of the booklet, there are programs for solving individual number theory problems.
