King Petar Karađorđević the Liberator, the creator of the state of the Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, based his political program on Milo's treatise On Freedom.
Convinced that the subjugation of the other sex is a surviving and irrational social custom, the great English liberal thinker presents arguments in support of his position that are no less modern today than in 1869, when this essay was written. They are even more relevant now, because sexual politics is more two-faced.
