When it comes to established writers from Brod, they are not completely immersed in the literary canon of the Slavonian-Brod environment, while within the framework of Croatian literature, they have a very hard time breaking through, conquering and occupying the literary places that should certainly belong to them based on their achieved merits and values. Darija Mataić Agičić's approach is mostly specific, she obviously has her own predilections and she is very keen that her readings of these authors reach as many readers as possible and that they become known to as many readers as possible, or at least a good part of the Slavonian-Brod cultural public, through her analytical and critical texts.
