The Strossmayer Gallery of Old Masters bears the name of its founder and founder, Bishop Josip Juraj Strossmayer. It is located in the building of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Zagreb.
The book presents Švajcer's entire bibliography and a selection of his published and unpublished texts (e.g. texts on Krunoslav Kern; Branko Kovačević; Osijek painting between the two wars; Antun Babić as a graphic artist, etc.).
Each book in Taschen's Basic Art series contains a detailed chronological summary of the artist's life and work, covering the artist's cultural and historical significance, approximately 100 color illustrations with explanations, and a brief biography.
