Tom Gates: Moj savršeni svijet, 1. knjiga
The first installment of the mega-popular series about Tom Gates, by the British writer and illustrator Liz Pichon, delighted young readers and their parents around the world.
A very successful and award-winning series, translated into 40 languages and sold more than a million copies in Great Britain alone, and with its humor and super fun drawings, it will win over all fans of Greg's diary, but also those children, especially boys, for whom reading is not one of their favorite activities . Tom Gates is in the 5th grade and writes down in his diary all the incidents and accidents that happen to him every day at home and at school. He always illustrates all his notes with drawings, which are not always amusing to his professors. Tom loves music, his favorite band is 3FACE, but he also has his own band Psi Zombies with his best friend Derek. He loves eating caramel waffles and playing pranks on his older sister Delia, for whom he wrote the first hit Delija je munjena. Liz Pichon has so far released eight of the planned ten installments of the series. Prestigious awards contributed to its exceptional popularity: the Roald Dahl Award for the funniest children's book, the Waterstone Award for the Children's Book of the Year and the Red House Award for the best book for young readers.
