Kolijevka za macu

Kolijevka za macu

Kurt Vonnegut

Kurt Vonnegut's novel 'Cat's Cradle' is a science fiction satire.

In the book, the author ironizes the legacy and achievements of science, which on the one hand represent the progress of the human race, and on the other hand are inexorably leading the world to a cataclysmic end. Dr. Hoenikker is a scientist isolated from the world, devoted to his work, but also completely unaware of the ethical consequences of his inventions. Ice Nine – his latest invention, is a substance that turns everything into ice upon contact with water and threatens to destroy the entire planet.
