Having found an ally in Janeway, Mrs. Gallant will ask him to return her missing family treasure, but soon after, she too disappears. Janeway's search will lead him to a scruffy little Baltimore bookstore, a writer with a murky past, and a gang of robbers who are apparently looking for the same literary gem, but when his friend is also killed during the investigation, it will become clear that someone is willing to do anything to keep the secrets of the past forever. hidden.
