Žene, bajke, kraljice – prva je u nizu zbirki priča namenjenih odrasloj publici u kojoj je devet hrvatskih književnica odlučilo da da glas ženskim likovima iz bajki.

Tako su se zajedno našle dve žene Plavobradog (jedna je poginula, a jedna preživela), majka i maćeha Pepeljuge, Gosling, baka Male sirene, majka Snežane, majka i maćeha Ivice i Marice, ćerka i unuka Snežne kraljice. Zahvaljujući pisačkim glasovima Nade Gašić, Julijane Adamović, Nataše Govedić, Vere Vujović, Lade Žigo, Jadranke Pintarić, Jadranke Barg, Ane Đokić i Aide Bagić, svaka od priča baca svetlo na ove likove iz potpuno novog ugla. Da li individualizacija likova iz bajki gubi svoju moć (koju svi nosimo u sebi kao arhetipove) ili nam, naprotiv, dozvoljava da prestanemo da živote likova iz bajki, kao i svoj, vidimo kao crno-belu sliku, na svakom čitaocu je da sam proceni.
