Zagor – Kolor specijal #9: Kineska sekta / Divlja horda

The ninth Zagor – Kolor specijal contains the complete Kineska sekta and the opening of Divlja horda. Both adventures concern the fight against people who turn human freedom into a commodity, while offering different kinds of suspense.

In Kineska sekta, the disappearance of Native Americans and trappers threatens conflict among Darkwood’s inhabitants. Zagor’s investigation leads towards worshippers of Butakama, who force prisoners through deadly trials in concealed arenas. Rescuing the abducted becomes a struggle for survival, with organised human trafficking behind the ritual violence.

Divlja horda opens with a gang kidnapping women to sell into slavery in Canada. Zagor and Chico join Bob, the husband of one of the captives. Their mission to rescue the women pits them against numerous ruthless opponents, while Canadian rebels further complicate conditions along the frontier.

Written by Pierpaolo Pelò and Francesco Moretti, with artwork by Marco Torricelli and Roberto D’Arcangelo, this colour volume combines investigation, action and rescue. The second story concludes in issue ten.
