Zagor LU #177 : Oklopni vagon
A specialist gang plans to steal the money for a major cattle deal in Leyton, but its carefully organised robbery faces an unexpected obstacle: Zagor.
Oklopni vagon opens a western adventure built around a meticulously organised crime. A huge herd of cattle has been gathered in Leyton, awaiting a buyer who will arrive with the money to purchase it. The opportunity attracts a criminal strategist assembling a hand-picked team for an ambitious robbery.
His five specialists include a cold-blooded killer, an exceptionally accurate Native American marksman, a safecracker and two cattle thieves. Every gang member has a defined role, and success depends on coordinating their particular skills. What none of them has anticipated is Zagor’s intervention.
Jacopo Rauch constructs a heist thriller within a western setting, bringing together railway transport, the cattle trade and calculated criminal planning. Suspense develops from the clash between preparation and uncertainty: how will a coordinated gang respond to an opponent who refuses to behave as expected?
Gianni Sedioli illustrates the action and the different participants in the operation. An organised robbery and Zagor’s disruption of the plan drive the opening half of this two-part storyline. The adventure concludes in Ludens #178, Pljačkaši.
