"The Midnight Me" is a poetry collection by Vladimir Rem in which the author explores the inner world of the individual, the feeling of loneliness, and the relationship of man to himself, others, and the time in which he lives.
The poems in the collection are characterized by a meditative and intimate tone. The lyrical subject observes his own life, memories and transience, often in the atmosphere of the night that enhances the feeling of reflection and restlessness.
