Describing his personal and spiritual journey, the author presents the effects of certain plants that Amazonian shamans used in treatment and passed down from the era that preceded the appearance of Western civilization. Since he could not solve his health problems with the methods of modern medicine, the author turned to treatment with a thousand-year-old medicine of Amazonian origin with the treatment of ayahuasca, a hallucinogenic drink banned in Croatia.
