Kālidāsa

Meghadūta is a lyric poem written by Kālidāsa, who is considered one of India's greatest poets. It describes how a Yaksha, banished by his master to a remote area, asked a cloud to convey a message of love to his wife.

Moving on to the specific features of Kālidāsa's poetry, it is noted that his heroes "want from the women they are in love with strong and expressive confessions of their love, confessions that men want to hear in their absence. This is observed in Shakuntala, Urvashi and Malavika. Passionate men yearn for confirmation of fierce passion for beloved women. This manifests their desire for self-preservation". - Cedomil Veljačić

Bal Gandahar Tilak

Knjiga „Arktička pradomovina Veda“ (1903) indijskog naučnika Tilaka predložila je hipotezu da su drevni Arijevci, autori Rigvede, poreklom iz arktičkog regiona. Iako kontroverzna, knjiga ostaje važna u proučavanju vedskih tekstova i indijske istorije.
