J. B. Priestley

Der Schriftsteller John Boynton Priestley, ansonsten ein äußerst produktiver Autor, unternahm gerade einen außergewöhnlichen Ausflug in die SF.

Er nutzte oft sein Lieblingsthema, die Chronomotion, als praktisches Handlungsinstrument. Dieser Handlungswitz wird auch im Roman „Der 31. Juni“ (1961) verwendet, in dem Prinzessin Melisent aus der Zeit von König Artus und Sam aus unserer Zeit kombiniert werden.
