VOZ U SNEGU je dečji klasik voljenog pisca Mate Lovraka, uz koga su odrastale i sazrevale generacije mladih čitalaca.

Troje učenika četvrtog razreda žive u Jabukovcu u Velikom Selu. Zovu se Ljuban, Draga i Pero. Učitelj vodi učenike ove seoske škole na izlet vozom u grad. Tamo, u štampariji, pesmom zahvaljuju školi na besplatnom putovanju u Zagreb, i na kraju odlaze u zoološki vrt. Međutim, učitelj se razboli u gradu i ostaje u bolnici, a deca moraju sama da se vrate. U povratku ih zateče zimska oluja i voz se zaustavlja ispred snežnog nanosa. Zahvaljujući pomoći dece, železničari oslobađaju voz.
