Priče za decu Nevenke Bakoš su zbirka kratkih, toplih i edukativnih priča namenjenih mlađoj deci.

Likovi su najčešće deca ili životinje sa ljudskim karakteristikama. Situacije su svakodnevne, ali često obogaćene magijom ili maštovitim obrtima – na primer, predmeti koji govore, životinje koje vode dijalog ili deca koja rešavaju problem uz pomoć neobičnih prijatelja. Poruke su blage i nenametljive: važnost ljubaznosti, iskrenosti, hrabrosti i međusobnog poštovanja. Atmosfera je vesela i optimistična, čak i kada se priče dotiču problema poput usamljenosti ili neposlušnosti. Zbirka je primer klasične hrvatske dečje književnosti iz 80-ih, jednostavna i pristupačna, namenjena čitanju u nižim razredima osnovne škole ili za porodično čitanje naglas.
