The work of all five professional puppet theatres (Split, Zagreb, Zadar, Osijek, Rijeka) is documented, and Croatian puppet festivals (PIF, SLUK, International Children's Festival) are also covered, as well as the most important non-institutional alternative and amateur groups, and performances in drama theatres (especially the performances of Zlatko Bourek). The text is written in an informative and clear way, so it will be interesting to both experts and the general public, and it is a welcome handbook in teaching related to the field of performing arts.
