Meredith and Steve Whitman are two successful people in a happy marriage. The only thing they miss is their children. Steve longs for them, but Meredith is not ready to subordinate her career to her responsibilities to them.
Steve supports her decision to accept the new job, and he is ready to find a job in California as soon as possible.
