Ivan Aralica rođen je 1930. godine u Promini u Dalmatinskoj zagori. Radio je kao nastavnik, upravnik i direktor u školama Dalmatinske Zagore, a od 1971. godine kao gimnazijski profesor u Zadru. Bio je politički angažovan krajem 60-ih i početkom 70-ih.
