Mister No SD #12: Povratak "Tigrova"
Mister No and Esse-Esse travel to Southeast Asia to help Bat Barlington, Jerry’s former Flying Tigers comrade. Powerful drug lords stand in their way.
In Povratak „Tigrova”, Jerry Drake’s past draws him into another dangerous adventure. His former comrade Bat Barlington, who served alongside him in the Flying Tigers in the early 1940s, now lives in the region between Burma, Thailand and Laos. Powerful drug lords dominate the area, and Mister No and Esse-Esse arrive to help Bat oppose them.
Wartime friendship becomes the reason for a new mission. Leaving his familiar Amazonian surroundings, Jerry reconnects with a bond formed during his years as a wartime pilot. His personal history gives the adventure its emotional foundation, while the opposition comes from men whose power rests on an organised criminal trade.
Luigi Mignacco builds an action thriller around loyalty and the decision to stand beside an old friend. The “Tigers” of the title evoke a shared experience that neither time nor distance has erased. Fabrizio Busticchi and Luana Paesani illustrate this move to Southeast Asia, giving the adventure a setting distinct from the series’ Brazilian stories. Friendship, wartime memories and practical solidarity drive this opening instalment. The story concludes in the following issue, Zlatni trokut.
