Obitelj Trapp: Moje pjesme moji snovi

Obitelj Trapp: Moje pjesme moji snovi

Maria Augusta Trapp

The book itself is an autobiography, or the true story of Maria von Trapp. A young girl who has seen more than God's mercy and guidance throughout her life.

With her cheerful and playful spirit, she wanted to contribute to the monastery, but God decided to call her to follow a different path. She responded a little reluctantly, but as the words on the ring of the venerable mother of her unsuspecting Nonnberga monastery say, "There is no question of God's will". There begins the life adventure of her and her family, which before her arrival consisted of seven children (5 girls and two boys), and after her arrival the family grew by three more members. This family lived in Austria until World War II, but soon after the arrival of the German army they had to flee the country. Their life was turbulent, from running away, to uncertainty in many countries where they were. Nevertheless, it is precisely through all this that God is best glorified, to which they are witnesses.
