Matildin posljednji valcer

Tamara Mckinley

The novel Matilda's Last Waltz is the story of Jenny Sanders, a twenty-five-year-old Australian woman from Sydney who, after the tragic loss of her husband and son, learns that her late husband left her a farm Churinga in the Australian outback.

After some thought, Jenny goes to the estate and finds a harsh and merciless world, but a world of special and unobtrusive beauty. But he also encounters secrets. Her new neighbors are reluctant to talk about Matilda Thomas, Churinga's previous owner, but the longer Jenny stays at the farm, the more aware she becomes of her predecessor's constant presence. Then she discovers Matilda's diaries and becomes involved in a story so astonishing that she could not even dream of it. And the deeper he delves into the secrets of the past, the more he wonders if the Churinga legacy is a blessing or a curse...

This is the first novel published in our country by a British writer born in Australia.
