Life and work in the garden, from preparing the terrain, through soil improvement, choosing crops and seedlings, to caring for plants and harvesting healthy fruits, has been presented by Kornelija Benyovsky Šoštarić in an interesting and inspiring text. The result is a book about a way of life in abundance of fruits that nature generously produces when its laws are respected. As the author herself says in the foreword: "In the following pages, do not expect instructions about hard work and excessive digging, but about gardening for busy people like me, who only have time for the garden on weekends. Do not expect a perfectly tidy garden, but a flourishing nature in which many useful plants grow. However, expect a kind of responsibility, and I would even dare to say a call to oppose conventional agriculture and large corporations that manage the artificial fertilizer, pesticide and GM seed industry. They are leading our planet towards pollution and hunger.
