Die Hochzeit gerät zum Chaos – nicht nur wegen des Regens oder Annikas Wutausbrüchen, sondern weil dunkle Geheimnisse ans Licht kommen: Untreue, Manipulationen, langjährige Lügen und Ereignisse, die das Leben aller Anwesenden geprägt haben. Die Spannungen nehmen zu, Beziehungen zerbrechen, und was eigentlich ein „glückliches Ende“ hätte sein sollen, wird zu einem Moment der Wahrheit und der Konfrontation mit der Realität.
