“A Selection of Poems” by Dragutin Domjanić brings together the most important poems by one of the most recognizable Croatian lyricists and a key representative of modern Kajkavian literature. Domjanić’s poetic oeuvre combines the refined intimacy of European modernity with the warmth of the Kajkavian idiom, creating a verse that is simultaneously cultivated, musical and close to the people.

This collection includes his most famous poems, such as those that have become almost folk over time, as well as lesser-known lyrical writings that reveal the breadth of his sensibility.
