Today, more than ever, the family is the fundamental place for evangelization and the affirmation of human values and society.
But we cannot hide our concern for it, precisely because of the blows to which it is increasingly exposed. The love of spouses, the creative gift that should bind them together for life, weakens and dies after one or two years - and sometimes even less. The family cries out for a sure footing, for help that comes from above: for a strong spirituality. This spirituality should value its natural characteristic - togetherness, a spirituality that will emphasize that we can go to God together, a spirituality that will lead each individual member of the family to draw strength from God as the source of love and to discover in the brother, and therefore also in the husband, in the wife, in the children, in every neighbor - the path that leads to God.
