The collection brings together works by Croatian writers, translators and scholars on Dante Alighieri and shows his strong influence on Croatian literature, culture and spiritual heritage over several centuries.
"Contemporary Croatian Storytellers" is an anthology edited by Miroslav Vaupotić and with an afterword by him, published in 1974 by Spektar. The collection provides an overview of the Croatian prose scene of the second half of the 20th century.
The anthology, edited and translated by Zdravko Malić, a leading Croatian Polish scholar and founder of the Polish Language Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zagreb, represents a key selection of Polish short fiction from the 20th century.

The anthology of Croatian drama by B. Hećimović is the second (after Marijan Matković's) anthology edition that represents the development of the entire national drama, with the fact that Hećimović's selection is much wider.
