Neisplakani

Mirko Božić

The novel "Neisplakani" explores the themes of real life, relationships and conflicts between different social strata, and deeper human emotions and experiences.

In this novel, Božić tells the story of people - peasants and citizens - who live their parallel lives in the area of Dalmatian Zagora. Without real mutual understanding, their paths intertwine, and Christmas skilfully depicts their destinies and internal conflicts. Božić's prose is often imbued with real life, and his works are often inspired by events and people from his surroundings.
