Jules Verne

This science fiction novel was created at the end of the 19th century from the pen of a famous French storyteller for children and youth, also the founder of the science fiction genre.

The action of the novel takes place in the Nautilus, a submarine - an underwater city, which is managed by Captain Nemo, a mysterious outlaw who got into the depths of the sea and from there takes revenge on the Earth for the wrongs done... The book is an abridged edition translated by Predrag Raos, who also wrote the foreword about Jules Verne as a dreamer of his time. It also contains a translator's note, and explanations of measurement units such as mile, cable, fathom and cubit.
