Doživljaji: Kako sam osnovao NDH

Doživljaji: Kako sam osnovao NDH

Ante Pavelić

The book you are holding in your hands is a first-rate source for a better understanding and knowledge of the events of that time, pre-war and wartime. It does not bring complete, objective, unbiased truth. In this book, you read Pavelić's original sentences, which are certainly subjective, but they are important because he writes about important historical events from the perspective of one of the key people who created a good part of the mentioned events. Namely, immediately after the Second World War, he wrote memories of the pre-war and war years in Italy, before emigrating from Italy to Latin America, as far as possible from Yugoslavia. These memories were later published in three books under the common name "Experiences". After 1990, all three books came to life in Croatia, with the first two being available over the counter in bookstores, and even today they can be found in antique shops and on the Internet. And both saw large circulations. Almost no one has seen the third book, there is almost no trace of it because it was printed in a small print run and was distributed from hand to hand, primarily among emigrants.
