Since 1941, Ljubljana was under Italian and later German occupation. The collection describes the organization of illegal activities, including sabotage, dissemination of propaganda material and armed resistance. Special emphasis was placed on the activities of the Liberation Front of Slovenia, which coordinated the anti-fascist movement. The memories of witnesses reveal the courage of individuals, such as couriers, fighters and organizers, who risked their lives to weaken the occupier. Harsh conditions in the city are also documented, including repression, arrests and deportations to camps.
