Ljubljana u borbi 1941–1945: Zbornik sećanja

Since 1941, Ljubljana was under Italian and later German occupation. The collection describes the organization of illegal activities, including sabotage, dissemination of propaganda material and armed resistance. Special emphasis was placed on the activities of the Liberation Front of Slovenia, which coordinated the anti-fascist movement. The memories of witnesses reveal the courage of individuals, such as couriers, fighters and organizers, who risked their lives to weaken the occupier. Harsh conditions in the city are also documented, including repression, arrests and deportations to camps.

The book also emphasizes the importance of Ljubljana as a center of culture and resistance, where intellectuals, students and workers united in the fight for freedom. Esad Tihić, as editor, has carefully selected testimonies that reflect the diversity of experiences, from heroism to tragic losses.
