Delimično zasnovan na stvarnim događajima i ljudima, roman prikazuje život Eme, Ledi Hamilton, čuvene ljubavnice britanskog admirala Horacija Nelsona, tokom turbulentnog perioda krajem 18. i početkom 19. veka. „Ledi Hamilton“ je roman koji pokazuje Dimasovu sposobnost da oživi stvarne istorijske ličnosti kroz romantično-avanturističku naraciju. Iako nije među njegovim najpoznatijim delima, pruža zanimljiv pogled na život žene koja je ostavila svoj trag u velikoj istoriji, ali je i platila cenu za taj trag.
